Andrew Crain
Meet Andrew Crain, who is not only a graduate student in UGA’s Institute of Higher Education, but he is also the first director of Experiential Professional Development. In that role, he will work with both internal and external partners to develop strategies to expose students to career paths outside of academia. While pursuing his doctorate, he has also been a talent acquisition specialist with UGA in recent years.
“A significant number of graduate students pursue careers outside of academia each year, and I will be developing programs on a number of different fronts to help students learn more about these career fields,” says Crain. “I’m excited to bring my mixture of program knowledge, student development, and higher education administration.”
